Mission Swaraj (Earlier name - Samajik Suvidha Sangam)
The Mission Convergence was set up by way of Cabinet Decision No.1372 dated 12.03.2008 and Samajik Suvidha Sangam(SSS), was registered by GNCTD as a society under Societies Registration Act 1860 on 6th May 2008. The objective behind this initiative was to integrate the services of other line departments and facilitate the implementation of social welfare schemes in Delhi. Samajik Suvidha Sangam was created as a society with the mandate of alleviation of poverty and empowerment of women in the weaker sections of society of Delhi.
Samajik Suvidha Sangam (SSS) has been declared as nodal agency for the State Urban Livelihood Mission (SULM) vide order no dated 25.09.2014. Samajik Suvidha Sangam society was working under the administrative control of Revenue Department, as per order dated 08.03.2016. Restructuring and revival of Samajik Suvidha Sangam was convened on 10.05.2016, under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister. It was therefore, decided that the Gender Resource Centers (GRCs), District Resource Centers, Mother NGOs, Homeless Resource Centers, Aawaz Uthao Project, run under SSS was closed down, including and all the activities, by 31/07/2016 and Vocational Training Component may be finally closed by 30thSeptember 2016 vide orders File No.24/MD/SSS/PMU/08-09/662-671 dated 27.05.2016 and File No. 24/MD/SSS/ PMU/ 08-09/701-761 dated 09.06.2016
Memorandum of Association of Samajik Suvidha Sangam was changed into Mission Swaraj. Mission Swaraj is to function as the ape body in charge of laying out the policies and plans to institutionalized citizen participation in Delhi Government.
Mission Swaraj is the Society for the implementation of the Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM), a Centrally Sponsored Scheme under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), GoI. Mission Swaraj is responsible for overall monitoring of work under all components of the DAY-NULM Scheme.

- Employment through Skills Training & Placement (EST&P)
- Social Mobilisation and Institutional Development (SM&ID)
- Self-employment Programme (SEP)
- Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH)
- Support to Urban Street Vendors (SUSV)
- Capacity Building and Training (CB&T)
- Innovative and Special Projects (I&SP)
